‘Corruption affects the stability and wellbeing of the population’/ A. Kim the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic

Denis Pushilin the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic stressed the importance of combating corruption for the successful development of the Republic at the counter-corruption  meeting which took place early in February this year. He stated: ‘We have set ourselves the task of economic growth. Corruption is one of the serious obstacles to enterprise development and investment’. According to the Head of the Republic, the role of law-enforcement bodies and the judiciary  in the process of fight against corruption is the most important.

An extraordinary meeting of the Plenary Session of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic took place

On 24 January an extraordinary meeting of the Plenary Session of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic took place at the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic, which considered agenda items and three plenary rulings were adopted: “On Adoption of the Lists of Members of the Chambers of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic”, “On the Election of Members of the Appellate Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic” and “On the Establishment of the Judicial Board of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic”.
